§ 34-36. No smoking.

  • In addition to any other laws or provisions of this Code which regulate or prohibit smoking, it shall be unlawful for any person to smoke, possess or carry any lighted or burning cigar, pipe or cigarette in any building, area or place in the village where the owner or the person in charge thereof has caused to be displayed a sign or signs reading "NO SMOKING BY VILLAGE ORDINANCE." Any such sign shall be placed so that it is clearly visible to any person who enters such building, area or place.

    It shall further be unlawful to smoke, possess or carry any lighted or burning cigar, pipe, or cigarette, in any building, area or place in the village in which smoking is prohibited by Wisconsin State Statute.
